MOFGA’s Journeyperson Program provides holistic support for farmers, including support in accessing land, capital, business planning, mentorship and one-on-one technical assistance alongside a network of farmers. It is designed for business owners finishing their first year of business and runs for two years.

MOFGA’s Apprenticeship Program is targeted towards young adults, with or without previous farming experience, interested in learning how to farm. Apprentices work on a Maine farm dedicated to educating beginning farmers in exchange for room and board, financial compensation, and experience.
