Here’s a memory from Aaron Anker, chief granola officer at GrandyOats:

“MOFGA has been such an important part of the GrandyOats journey. It is hard to imagine our focus on organic as being possible without MOFGA’s support … We need MOFGA to help achieve our certification and guide us to be a better company. This of course is that year-round gift MOFGA has provided our company, our customers and myself as a business owner and individual. It’s the annual Common Ground Country Fair that has had the biggest impact on me over the years. Each year our company exhibits at the Fair, passing out hundreds of samples to fairgoers, having conversations with life-long customers, and hearing stories about how they use our products or where they buy them. It’s an emotional weekend where my soul is filled with good people trying their best to live an organic life, and support rural Maine and its farms and businesses. To be around all that warmth and affection for mother Earth and each other is a feeling that is hard to describe. One of the hardest parts of last year was not being able to be at the Fair. I can’t wait to get back to the Fair and to see so many good people on common ground supporting the mission of MOFGA.”
