Winter Series on Managing Livestock Reproduction: Breeding Considerations for Organic Dairy Herds

Join Jacki Martinez Perkins of Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association,  Dr. Glenda Pereira of University of Maine Extension, and Dr. Amy McGee-White DVM and Mitchell White for a 3-part reproductive health and genetic management series designed for livestock farmers to better manage and maintain their herds and flocks. Lunch is included in the registration cost.

University of Maine Cooperative Extension dairy specialist, Dr. Glenda Pereira, will speak on genetic selection and the impacts careful consideration has on a producer’s business, and longevity of the herd. Lunch sponsored by Organic Valley

Due to continuing concerns about public safety, we ask that in-person attendees please wear a mask indoors, and are offering registrants Zoom as a virtual alternative. 

Registration is sliding scale and open to all. Our sliding-scale registration fee allows us to offer more access to our events. Please pay the amount that fits your budget. Paying more than the suggested rates will help support the conference registration fees for someone who is unable to pay that cost. The suggested general registration fee is $75.
