Celebrate the history, flavor and tradition of Maine Apples!
Sponsored by MOFGA & Fedco Trees
Admission by optional donation, at the door.
Join us outside at MOFGA for a day of celebration and community. Take a guided tour of the orchards or attend a workshop, participate in cider pressing or trade perennial plants at our plant swap.
Come see educational displays about fruit trees or bring your own ‘mystery’ apples to our Apple Identification team. There’s also something fun for kids of all ages: apple art, a scavenger hunt around the grounds, and play-testing of a augmented reality app, The Station, that lets you follow a quest through the orchards! (Learn more about it here.)
There will also be snacks, apples and cider for sale, and we will be sampling MOFGA-grown heritage apple varieties!
This event has filled. Click here to join the waitlist.
This will be an all-outdoor event (please remember to dress for cool weather!) and we will be requiring masks. Pre-registration is required so we can keep the event under 300 people.
Because this event will be held outdoors we may have to cancel in the case of inclement weather. In that case we will email all registrants by Friday, October 15th and announce the change on MOFGA’s website & social media accounts.
Questions? Please email [email protected]. Look forward to seeing you!
