Join conservation biologist Aleta McKeage for a tour of the MOFGA forest in Unity. We’ll explore the impacts of non-native plants on forest ecology and regeneration, discuss the challenges and opportunities of controlling invasive plants without the use of herbicides, and demo a variety of mechanical methods land stewards can use to manage invasive plant populations on their properties. Co-sponsored by Waldo County Soil and Water Conservation District
