$70, $60 for MOFGA members.
As the colder weather hits and we’re drawn indoors it’s a great time to craft beautiful things to help keep our spirits high through the winter!
Dried flowers make long-lasting wreaths – great for the holidays and beyond. Carole Mapes of Flywheel Flowers will be teaching this class. If you have saved some flowers from your summer garden please feel free to bring those to incorporate into your wreath. Carole will also talk a bit about growing flowers for drying, for people interested in expanding their flower gardens.
This class will be held inside the farmhouse at MOFGA’s Education Center at 294 Crosby Brook Rd in Unity. We’ll have tea and hot cider on the woodstove. The space is small so class size is limited.
All supplies will be provided, including a selection of flowers grown by Carole at her farm in Jackson. Participants can bring snips or wire cutters if they have them (not required).
A former MOFGA farmer-in-residence, Carole has been running Flywheel Flowers since 2017. She offers a flower share (weekly deliveries of fresh flowers throughout the season), as well as providing flowers for weddings and events. She also loves creating everlasting flower creations, including wreaths.
