Preserving the Old, Exploring the New: Apple Talk with John Bunker at Manoff Market Cidery

April 4, 2022 @ 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm

FREE

Join for a special apple talk with apple expert John Bunker as Manoff Market Cidery in New Hope, Pennsylvania opens for the season. The cidery will be open for tastings and bottle purchases. A speaking program will be followed by an opportunity for book signing and apple IDing by John.

John Bunker is an orchardist, gardener, and apple historian. He is the founder of Fedco Trees, and owner and operator of Out on a Limb Apples. John is also the founder of the Maine Heritage Orchard in Unity, Maine which serves as a publicly accessible living monument to Maine’s historic and unique apple trees. John has published three books on his apple exploration and discoveries, most recently the 2019, Apples and the Art of Detection. Come bearing your mystery tree’s fruit from your root cellars or pictures from your old trees for John to consider. You may have a rare apple on your hands!

This event is free, but an attendance cap is in place, so pre-registration is highly recommended to ensure entry and to receive pre-event updates. There is no rain date, so please stay tuned for any forecast updates.
