Help Restore Organic Certification Cost Share for Organic Producers

Help us make a difference by contacting your Members of Congress today!

The 2018 Farm Bill has been extended until September 30, 2025. Rather than passing a new Farm Bill, Congress extended the Farm Bill for another year. Without Congressional action, core organic programs, including the Organic Certification Cost Share Program, have expired, leaving thousands of organic producers with a huge net increase in their annual certification costs.

The Organic Certification Cost Share Program has not been funded for 2025, and there is no word from USDA at this time about their plan to fund this vital and important program. PLEASE TAKE ACTION IN SUPPORT OF ORGANIC PRODUCERS!

Congressional delegation members hear from MOFGA a lot, and they also need to hear from you! Please contact your congressional district members so they can hear from you directly about the impacts on your operation if there isn’t organic cost share funding for 2025.
