New Beat Farm is a Certified organic farm growing vegetables, and cut flowers in the heart of Waldo county’s rich agricultural community. We work within a mixture of production systems with 1.5 acres in low-till permanent beds and two acres in larger field crop production using our Belgian and Percheron draft horses. Our farm as a whole is comprised of 135 ares of crop land, pasture and forest.

We market our produce and flowers at the Belfast Farmers Market, Daybreak Growers Alliance, the Maine Flower Collective and the Belfast Co-op as as well as floral design work for weddings and special events throughout the season.

We farm because it is the best way for us to live by our ideals and give back. We are passionate about providing our community with high quality, nutritious produce and radiant blooms through having a deep commitment to the health of our soils and the agro-ecosystem of our farm as a whole, and farming at a scale where we can stand.
