Event Refund Policy

MOFGA’s event refund policy differs based on type of event; as well as time of, and reason for, withdrawing from the event. These policies were created to both honor participants’ wellbeing, while also supporting our needs to compensate presenters and cover materials. Please read below for more information:

  • For limited-space events:
    • Partial (50%) refunds are offered up to 24 hours before the workshop in the case of medical or emergency cancellations
    • Medical and emergency cancellations within 24 hours of the event may receive refunds on a case-by-case basis
    • No refunds are given for other cancellation reasons, except on case-by-case basis
  • For larger in-person workshops:
    • Full refunds are issued for medical or emergency cancellations up to 24 hours before the event
    • Partial (50%) refunds are offered for non-medical or emergency cancellations up to 24 hours before the event
    • Cancellations within 24 hours of the event will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis
  • Events with food service:
    • Refunds are available for meals purchased with foodservice two weeks out from the event, after that no refund is available for the meals purchased, wherein MOFGA has to pay for food regardless of whether participants cancel
