Seed Breeding and Plant Selection
September 27 @ 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm
FREEMOFGA’s Farm Training Project (FTP) workshops are designed for apprentices, Journeypeople, farmworkers and other beginning farmers. They follow an informal format including a farm tour and conversation on the topic of the day. All events are free but require registration.
Join the plant breeding team at Johnny’s for a behind-the-scenes learning opportunity of the seed industry process. We will discuss the basics of seed breeding and selection at the Johnny’s Selected Seeds research farm.
For questions call 207-568-4142 or email MOFGA’s Beginning Farmer Program Specialist, Bo Dennis, at [email protected].
