The research farm at Johnny’s Selected Seeds manages ten different farm sites, requiring a diverse approach to irrigation and water storage/distribution. Farm Manager Collin Thompson will discuss how Johnny’s has worked to build irrigation capacity at each of its sites using a mix of groundwater, surface water, and stored water. He will also touch on the various systems used to irrigate, including drip and multiple overhead application methods.
