In this workshop Anneli will share her methods for deciding what to plant (and how much) and designing the layout of your vegetable garden. Whatever your aspirations may be for your plot, you’ll learn some tricks and tips about how to meet those goals, what varieties may best suit your growing conditions and how to make the best use of the time and space you’ve got.

Anneli and her husband Dennis live on a highly self-sufficient, off-the-grid homestead on Deer Isle, Maine, where they grow and store all their own produce. In the summers they run the Deer Isle Hostel, providing budget accommodation and positive impact education for hundreds of travelers.
