Pests & Diseases in the Garden

Join Caleb Goossen, MOFGA’s Crops Specialist, for a “walk & talk” at a community garden in Portland with a focus on identifying and learning how to deal with common vegetable crop pests & diseases. Caleb will help identify pest or disease issues that we find in the gardens and share his go-to methods mitigating their effects on plant health. He’ll also talk through strategies for preventing pest and disease issues from the outset and answer all sorts of other gardening questions that come up!

Everyone is welcome, beginner & experienced gardeners alike.
