MOFGA’s Farm Training Project (FTP) workshops are designed for apprentices, Journeypeople, farmworkers and other beginning farmers. They follow an informal format including a farm tour and conversation on the topic of the day. All events are free but require registration.
Come walk through the pastures of Apple Creek Farm with the farmers and MOFGA’s livestock specialist. Apple Creek Farm is an organic livestock farm based in Bowdoinham, ME, dedicated to grass based meat production grown with care. They are currently raising poultry, sheep, goats, cattle and eggs on rotationally grazed pasture.
For questions call 207-568-4142 or email MOFGA’s Beginning Farmer Program Specialist, Bo Dennis, at [email protected].
This workshop is eligible for travel reimbursement. At the end of the Farm Training Project calendar, a mileage reimbursement form will be sent to all participants.
