Tour an active harvest with forester and logger Rob Nelson. He’ll demonstrate his small Swedish cut-to-length system and discuss how he manages woodlots using low-impact forestry principles. Rob will also discuss how forest improvement project funding from the Natural Resource Conservation Service can help landowners, foresters and loggers carry out exceptional forestry. Registration is limited for this event and MOFGA requires that participants complete a pre-attendance health self-evaluation, wear a mask at all times and practice social distancing.
