Join us on a tour to see how Ben Marcus & Taryn Hammer, of Sheepscot General Farm & Store, grow CBD hemp organically. We will discuss the emerging market of hemp production from marketing strategies including pick your own to general production practices. In addition to the tour, Gary Fish and Mary Yurlina from DACF’s Hemp Licensing Program will hold a brief meeting to gather information from stakeholders about what kind of hemp licensing authority would work best for Maine hemp farmers. This information will help legislators decide how to proceed with LD 33 in December.
