Join us for our first Gather & Grow tour of the season! Since moving to South Portland in 2016, Travis and Anne have worked to reclaim their half-acre backyard from a thicket of invasives and create a small suburban homestead. Along the way they’ve built a four season irrigated garden, greenhouse, and chicken coop. The yard also hosts a variety of young cider apple trees as well as additional orchard fruits, berries, and asparagus. Travis and Anne would love the opportunity to share what they’ve learned about boosting backyard garden productivity and building on a budget.
