We will discuss the importance of Maine forestlands for breeding birds, brook trout, and other wildlife; introduce you to 20 priority birds and the forest types and features they need to nest and raise their young; walk you through a simple bird habitat assessment you can do on your own; and connect you with professionals that can help you develop a wildlife-friendly forest management plan.
