Felting a Painting with Felted Acorns

June 16 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

$55 – $60

Join Isabel Stearns, the fiber artist behind The Felted Acorns, for a hands-on needle felting workshop! This class will be held in a small group setting (limit: 10 people) inside MOFGA’s store, the Maine Organic Marketplace, in Freeport, Maine.

At this workshop you’ll be introduced to the basic techniques of needle felting as you create a 5″ framed landscape. Together we will blend and felt the wool to make the root vegetable garden that you dream of.

Isabel was introduced to felting as a child attending Waldorf School and later rediscovered felting as a therapeutic art form. Today inspired by her environment and communities, Isabel crafts for the love of it!

All supplies required are included. We will be using naturally dyed Maine wool. No experience necessary!

Masks are required to attend this class. Attendance is capped at 10 participants.

$60 General, $55 MOFGA members.
