July 9 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Farm Training Project (FTP) workshops are designed for journeypeople, farmworkers, and other beginning farmers. They follow an informal format including a farm tour and conversation on the topic of the day.

Hall Brook Farm in Thorndike, Maine, grows organic vegetables for wholesale markets on a tractor scale. Come learn about farming practices Hall Brook Farm has implemented to be resilient in the face of climate change. This farm tour with the farmers will be alongside MOFGA’s Climate Smart and Organic Transitions Specialist, Meg Mitchell.
