Childcare and dinner provided with RSVP.
Please join us at the Climate Cafe! MOFGA will be hosting a series of gatherings inviting farmers and farmworkers to connect over climate concerns, share adaptation strategies and strengthen our networks of support. Discussion will be informal and spontaneous, guided by participants’ interests, with peer to peer connections at the core of the event. MOFGA will be sharing climate adaptation resources as well as collecting feedback about farmer and farmworker needs relating to this topic.
We will be bringing this event around the state in coming months, with the inaugural gathering to be held in Unity at the Common Ground Education Center on January 29 at 5 p.m. Food and childcare (as location permits) will be provided. If you have interest in hosting a Climate Cafe or know of a community center where you’d like to see this event held, please get in touch at [email protected].
We will be holding a Climate Cafe in Bowdoinham on February 20.
