Climate Disaster Relief Cafe

April 3 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Join MOFGA and American Farmland Trust for climate disaster relief focused conversation and listening session for farmers and agricultural service providers. Were you impacted by the December 2024 storm? A flooding event? Concerned about how climate-driven events might impact your farm in the future? We want to hear what you think robust disaster relief programs for farmers in Maine would look like. Expect to introduce yourself, share a bit about your farm or organization, and discuss ideas you have for shaping disaster relief programs and policy in Maine. The results of this listening session will be included in a larger New England-wide project aiming to improve state climate disaster relief programs to meet the needs of farmers.

Dinner will be provided!
