Are there old, overgrown fruit trees on or near your property? Don’t give up on them! Join us for this pruning workshop focused on renovating mature or neglected fruit trees.

This workshop is appropriate for those who have not pruned fruit trees before or those who have just a little experience. Instructors will discuss basic pruning practices and required tools. This type of pruning often involves ladders, pole pruners and sometimes climbing but there will be lots of opportunities to learn and practice cuts from the ground level. Participants should dress warmly and bring their pruners, loppers, and saws if they have them. (Instructors will also have a few tools to share.)

Mt Desert: Register

This event is also being hosted in Hope on March 30 and Cumberland on March 31.

Workshops limited to 15 participants per class. To join the waitlist for a particular event please email [email protected].
