Join MOFGA alongside Women for Healthy Rural Living and Maine Seacoast Mission for Beginner Open-to-all Chainsaw Safety in Downeast, Maine!

Learn safe chainsaw operation in these one-and-a-half-day courses. We’ll cover personal protective equipment (PPE) and chainsaw selection, and practice safe handling and open-face bore cutting techniques with instructor supervision. Designed for beginners.

Day 1 of this course will run 10am – 4pm, and Day 2 will run 8am – 4pm.

Participants in MOFGA’s Journeyperson program are welcome to register at no-cost with a limit of three Journeyperson participants per course.
