We grow 2.5 acres of mixed produce and manage 4 high tunnels. 2024 will be our 7th season in production. Our produce is available at the United Farmers Market in Belfast and through the Belfast Coop, Marsh River Coop and Daybreak Growers Alliance.

Hours and Work Season

Either Tuesday or Wednesday AND either Thursday or Friday.
Seasonal Hours: May: 8:00 – 5:00; June, July, August, and Sept: 7:00 – 4:00; Oct: 8:00 – 4:00 with a 1-hour unpaid lunch break

Job Description
We are hiring for one part time position working 2 days per week. Team members will participate in a wide variety of farm tasks- transplanting, seeding, cultivating, weeding, harvesting and packing for sale. Work on Tuesday and Wednesday will be focused on field and greenhouse work. On Thursday and Friday we focus on harvest, wash, and pack.
Qualifications:
-Ability to work outdoors, regardless of the weather
-Ability to do repetitive tasks with diligence and positivity
-Ability to work well with others and alone
-Reliable and prompt with an attention to detail
-Good communication skills, including: listening to directions, retaining multiple instructions, self-advocacy, giving and receiving constructive feedback, etc.
