Polly’s Point grows flowers for trials and seed production on a small farm in Union Maine. Jobs include weeding, mulching, fertilizer and pesticide inputs( organic) and generally keeping everything looking good for later summer photography.

Hours and Work Season
5-6 hrs a day, 10-12 hours a week, becoming as needed early fall. Hours 7-12, flexible as to which days. Work during main growing season, until frost, or removal of plants for cover crop in fall.

$16.00 to start, more based on experience.
Job Description
Willing to train an enthusiastic worker on best practices in growing flowers for trials and seed production. Responsible for timely weeding, fertilizer and pesticide inputs, pinching, deadheading trials , keeping weed free, so on. Experienced horticulturalist a big plus for us.
