The Hancock Family Farm is a 10 acre certified organic vegetable operation with a sizable PYO flower component. We sell all our food directly through a farmstand, free-choice CSA program and farmers markets.

Hours and Work Season
8:30 to 6:30, Friday through Sunday, Late June through September. Typically Farmstand Managers work 30 hours a week, but it is possible to add more hours by adding field work Monday through Thursday.

Job Description
The Weekend Farmstand Manager is responsible for all aspects of the farmstand, including customer service, stocking, processing (washing and packing) vegetables, making signs and coordinating with the field crew over stand needs. The Farmstand Manager is expected to elegantly navigate socializing with range of customers, have above average retail math skills, and should be organized. It is a bonus if the applicant is artistic or good at making hand drawn signs.

What to Expect from Us
The farmers will communicate the changes in product as the season unfolds so that the Farmstand Manager is able to relay that information to the customers. We will also work to make sure that the Manager has everything they need to complete their tasks.
