Please join us for our next No Till Grower Meeting on Sunday, November 24 at Stonecipher Farm in Bowdoinham, Maine, from 1 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. Come see how four season farming fits the portfolio. Over the past seven years, winter growing has become a cornerstone of Stonecipher Farm’s identity with over one acre under tunnels, without heat. Â
We’ll pull back the row cover and walk over all the tunnels, and get into what is growing and how we sell it in the winter. This event is geared toward farmers who are growing using no-till, ecological practices or are actively transitioning to these methods. Also learn about organic mentorship opportunities offered through the Transition to Organic Partnership Program! This event will be limited to 40 people and dinner will be provided (and itâs all free). Folks are also welcome to stay the night: camping or tiny house.
