Being able to diversify the genetics of your herd can be an important asset when working with cattle. However, the lack of contract artificial insemination technicians in Maine means that qualified breeders are often geographically out of reach for most people. Learning to perform artificial insemination can be a step in maintaining your farm’s biosecurity, as well as increasing your skill set.
We are bringing this hands-on learning opportunity to Aroostook County, an often underserved community. Participation is limited to 10 individuals.
SOLD OUT.
We will possibly be offering this class again later in the year. If you would like to be added to the waitlist for this event, email Jacki M. Perkins at [email protected].
