  • MOFGA's response to the USDA's Revised Organic Standards Rules
  • The organic community was shocked by a Feb. 4, 2000 piece on ABC's "20/20" program that questioned the benefits of organic food. Specifically, "experts" claimed that organic produce was fouled with deadly bacteria that is far more dangerous than pesticide residue, that organic food is no more nutritional than conventionally grown food, and that farmers using high-nitrogen fertilizers plus plenty of pesticides are the true environmentalists. Please link to the Organic Trade Association's complete response to this irresponsible piece of journalism to learn more about what you can do.
