Calling All Vegetables Gardeners!
Help Unity Volunteer Regional Food Pantry with Overflow

Are you running out of friends and neighbors who will take those extra zucchini off your hands? Wondering what you were thinking when you planted all those rows of green beans? Has last winter's dream of putting up six dozen quarts of tomatoes wilted in the summer's heat? Whatever the vegetable you have in abundance the Volunteer Regional Food Pantry is more than happy to accept for its monthly food distribution.

Formerly known as the Unity Food Pantry, the Volunteer Regional Food Pantry has worked for 14 years to serve an ever-growing number of families. There is no such thing as too much donated produce when it comes to supplementing the food needs of 200 families from 11 towns every month.

Please contact Richard and Bunny Moore at 948-6232 to arrange to drop off your ripe vegetables or have them picked up a day or two before the month's food distribution in the Unity Elementary School gymnasium. The extra care you take to wash and bag or box your vegetables is appreciated. Your donation of produce to the Volunteer Regional Food Pantry is tax deductible and you will be provided with a receipt.

Thank you for contributing generously to the nutritional needs of hungry children and adults living in our area.
