2005 COMMON GROUND COUNTRY FAIR TICKETS ON SALE AUGUST 1st

The Fair will take place at the home of the Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) in Unity, Maine. The dates for this year's Fair are September 23, 24 & 25. Gates open at 9 am each day.

About 50,000 visitors will attend the Common Ground Country Fair. Many purchase their tickets at the gates when they arrive. While the volunteer ticket-sellers and -takers make every effort to move the crowds swiftly through the entrances, the lines can be long. MOFGA encourages those who can purchase their tickets in advance to do so. It will make the visit to the Fair more pleasant. All Fairgoers holding Advance Tickets or MOFGA Membership Cards may go directly to the front of the ticket lines.

Admission prices are the same in advance as at the gate:

$9.00 each day for ages 13 through 64.

$7.00 each day for ages 65 and over.

Admission is FREE each day for MOFGA members, children ages 12 and under, and handicapped citizens. MOFGA encourages school groups from grades K-12 to attend free on Friday.

Join MOFGA on Your Way Into the Fair

Fairgoers may join MOFGA at one of the MOFGA Tents located just outside the Ticket Gates. Membership entitles individuals and families to get into the Fair free all three days. MOFGA members who already have membership cards may enter through the MOFGA Tent gate.

Ticket prices for nonmembers are the same in advance and at the gate. Fairgoers holding Advance Tickets may go directly through in the advanced ticket lines.
