Each year, MOFGA hosts a poster design contest to find an design that captures the essence of the Common Ground Country Fair.
The poster for the 2013 Common Ground Country Fair was unveiled at MOFGA's annual meeting during the Maine Agricultural Trade Show in Augusta. The 2013 poster features a team of oxen in decorative head yokes. Inspired by oxen at the Common Ground Country Fair, the design was created by Dixmont artist Grace Keown.
MOFGA invites Maine residents and MOFGA members (regardless of residence) to submit a design for our Common Ground Country Fair poster. The selected design is featured on the Fair poster, website, T-shirt and promotional literature. The winning artist receives $1,000 and is featured in MOFGA's quarterly newspaper, The Maine Organic Farmer and Gardener, and in various press announcements.

The postmark deadline for 2014 poster entries is Friday, August 2, 2013. Entries may be hand delivered to the MOFGA office up until Wednesday, August 7 at 4:00 p.m.
