The Media Area of the Fair promotes Maine-based media outlets and businesses that embrace the goals and objectives of MOFGA by providing valuable information on the following topics: organic farming and gardening; environmental protection; stewardship of natural resources; local food production and consumption; and the revival of agriculturally-based, rural communities. Most of the exhibitors in the Media Area are Maine-based, but Area Coordinators do consider out-of-state applications on a case-by-case basis.

There are two tents in the Maine Media area: one for media exhibitors and the other for presentations and educational sessions.
