Welcome to the Farmers' Market at the Common Ground Country Fair!
No Farms, No Food. Think about it...all of our hard working Farmers’ Market growers are not only producing bounty for your table and larder, they are also preserving Maine’s valuable farmland, our true source of security. By being organic stewards of the land, they are pledging to protect our environment and our future.

As you pass their colorful displays of products grown and produced on their farms, imagine these farmers’ daily commitment to the land. Honor their hard work and dedication by supporting their efforts. Bring home food to eat fresh! Bring home apples for a pie! Stock up on keepers – winter squash, potatoes, onions, garlic and shallots. Get some garlic to plant in your own garden. Buy a wreath to grace your door or a plant to brighten your windowsill. Our vendors are happy to hold your purchases while you visit the rest of the Fair.
Check out Mooarhill Farm’s incredible pepper plants. They are not only beautiful, they’re edible and will provide months of picking and cooking pleasure. Or talk to Peter, of Curra Family Farm, about making the best potato leek soup ever!
We have tisanes and salves, honey and yogurt, jams and pickles, salsa bolsa and herbs, dried flowers, Sweet Annie, wild blueberries and crisp apples, pork, chicken....the list goes on and on! Come see the finest of Maine’s bounty. And remember, everything here is organically grown by our farmers, who work hard to preserve Maine farmland and to provide us all with an incredible array of Maine-grown products.
