Common Ground Country Fair 5K Foot Race

It's healthy for You!

The Common Ground Fair invites one & all to take part in one of the oldest and most traditional forms of contest: the foot race. One need only swiftness of feet and strength of spirit to pit one's self against the 5000 meter organic race course. That's correct ... Unlike other race courses, this unique terrain treats your soles to rich & nutrient dense footing that will fuel your footsteps for the opening of the fairgrounds. Last year found the women's course record fall to Leah Frost who scorched the field with an 18:55 making her our woman's champion and second place overall. Leah was only 11 seconds behind Michael Denicola who was our male Champion winning the overall competition in 18:44. Come enjoy some early morning exercise, wonderful camaraderie, and the best fair experience around.

Course records:
Female: 18:55 Leah Frost 2013
Male: 15:29 Adam Goode 2012
