Storage Crops
Maine's winter farmers' markets and CSA shares offer storage crops, such as these carrots and beets (found at the Common Ground Country Fair Farmers' Market) – and much more, including fresh greenhouse-grown vegetables, meat, milk, bread... basically, enough healthful food to nourish our population all year.
