Entering our second year of production, we grow strictly organically but have not yet sought organic certification. We draw much of our inspiration from the practice of permaculture, including establishing as many perennial crops as possible while also growing heirloom and native crops. Our roadside farm stand sells our produce and flowers to both CSA members and the public. We also sell some items that are grown or crafted by other local producers. During the winter months, we run a Winter CSA which features winter storage veggies and greens grown in our two greenhouses. Our 2013 apprentice will have the opportunity to participate in every aspect of our farming operation as well as the unique option to live on and participate in our cooperative homestead. More...
