Fishbowl Farm plans to end farmers market sales, focus on wholesale
Portland Press Herald - 9/24/2012.

By Avery Yale Kamila – After this season, Fishbowl Farm intends to end its retail market business. Since 2004, the Bowdoinham farm has been a popular vendor at the Portland and Brunswick farmers markets. It also operates a CSA subscription program. Once these summer markets close up shop around Thanksgiving, Fishbowl Farm intends to change its business model and focus on wholesale accounts for salad greens.

By Rachel Ohm – Anson: Parents and children sat down to a harvest dinner on a recent night to enjoy food prepared from the first crop of a new garden cultivated by third-graders. The Garrett Schenck Elementary School, like many schools across the nation, is making it a priority to teach students where food comes from and encourage healthy eating.
