NH Committee Sends GMO Labeling Bill to Floor for Action

HB660 passed the House subcommittee that had been exhaustively studying it since mid-August last week. The bill came up short yesterday when the Environment and Agriculture Committee vote occurred after only a single session of consideration, with 12 voting ‘against’, 8 voting ‘for.’ The popular amended GMO labeling bill now moves forward to the full House for a debate and vote in early 2014.
