New tests find bee-killing pesticides in 51% of bee-friendly plants from garden centers across U.S. and Canada

The Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association (MOFGA) recently took part in a national research project showing that many bee-friendly home garden plants sold at Home Depot, Lowe's and Walmart have been pre-treated with pesticides that harm and kill bees. Biotech Lobbyists Use Deception in Opposing GMO Labeling, Again
Organic Connections - 9/29/2013.

No on 37.) In another illustration of déjà vu, the opposition in Washington State is trotting out the argument that voters should reject the measure because it contains a few exemptions.
Fire destroys milking barn at Turner farm
WCSH6.com - 9/29/2013.
By Amanda Hill - A 150-foot barn was destroyed in a fire Sunday afternoon at Caldwell Family Farm in Turner.
