Please bring your own bag lunch
Learn to propagate and reproduce your favorite fruit tree varieties. Instructor C.J. Walke, MOFGA's Organic Orchard Educator, will explain why to graft and will demonstrate the techniques for Whip & Tongue grafting. Participants will graft trees to take home and plant. Care for the new trees will also be discussed. More details on the registration link below.

Saturday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., MOFGA's Common Ground Education Center, Unity. Celebrate Earth Day in Unity by joining the spring clean up at our Common Ground Education Center and by planting new apple trees in the Maine Heritage Orchard. We'll get ready for the growing season and learn about the importance of mulching. Our planting day is a great way to enjoyfresh air and the company of other MOFGA supporters.
