And, while Americans economized on their food purchases during the 2007-09 recession, including purchases of organic products, growth in demand for organic products rebounded quickly following the recession.
New Study Confirms Chocolate's Fat-Busting Properties

The European study titled, "Association between chocolate consumption and fatness in European adolescents," found a higher chocolate consumption was associated with lower total and central fatness in European adolescents.
