During 2002-11, the country’s domestic organic food production increased to about 240%. The country is home to about 17,750 organic farms. The demand for organic food is continuously increasing in the United States as Organic Trade Association (OTA) 2012 estimates reveal that eight out of ten parents are reportedly purchasing organic food in the country.
