This MOFGA certified organic farm raises elderberry, aronia and goji berry for sale to Maine value-added businesses, as well as selling plant stock to the retail market. But Peter Lindquist and Sarah Ruef-Lindquist decided to try—to reduce their global footprint and to ensure a safe supply of protein for breakfast. In 2008, they bought a flock of 12 chickens for their half-acre parcel in Camden.

It has published a booklet with charts, maps and studies about the loss of apple varieties and what is being done about it.
