Online ticket sales for the 2014 Common Ground Country Fair are CLOSED.

Ticket prices at the gates are increasing to help support improved services and higher operation costs. You may still buy Advance Tickets at any of the OUTLETS LISTED HERE up until Fair time.

Our Store is now closed except for memberships, donations and registrations for events and workshops so that we may focus on getting our new inventory ready for the Country Store on the fairgrounds. 2014 Fair T-shirts, tote bags, aprons and more will be available online by October 1.

Organic and Sustainable Agriculture News

They document how elevated CO2 is "driving fish crazy."

By Dana Gunders – Have you ever considered what that rotten food in your refrigerator costs? The average American family of four throws out an estimated $130-175 per month in spoiled and discarded food. That’s real money going straight into the garbage or compost bin instead of paying off your credit card bills.
Owner sure Windham greenhouse project will proceed
Maine Sunday Telegram - 1/15/2012.
By Leslie Bridgers – Windham: Standing next to a wooden stake in this rocky soil, John der Kinderen describes his vision for Sebago Farms. One of three huge hydroponic greenhouses would stretch 2,000 feet from this spot -- a distance longer than two Eiffel Towers laid end to end. There are plans for fish ponds and unique renewable energy elements that will make it extremely efficient.
