"The soil is, as a matter of fact, full of live organisms. It is essential to conceive of it as something pulsating with life, not as a dead or inert mass."
- Albert Howard, The Soil and Health, 1947

Organic and Sustainable Agriculture News
No longer just chicken feed: Non-GMO feed market growing
The Organic & Non-GMO Report - 4/29/2016.
By Ken Roseboro - The growing market for non-GMO verified meat, poultry, dairy, and egg products is increasing demand for non-GMO animal feed products. More feed suppliers are getting their products verified, but the new non-GMO feed market faces challenges such as oversupply and uncertain consumer demand.

National Sustainable Agriculture Coalition - 4/29/2016.

The Ellsworth American - 4/29/2016.
By Taylor Bigler - The seeds of Penobscot Potting Shed were planted not here in Maine, but in South Korea, where Andy and Tania Felger met while both were teaching in Seoul.
Pingree, chefs, business pros head to Cuba on an organic mission
