Join MOFGA Agricultural Services staff, Educational Programs staff, and your fellow farmers to start our conversation on addressing farmer well-being and long term viability. Enjoy some Flatbread pizza and great company while we begin to unpack the real challenges faced by farmers trying to balance their bottom line, interpersonal relationships, ethics, and their own physical and mental health both in and out of the field. MOFGA Tree Fodder Day

July 9, 2018 – Monday, MOFGA’s Common Ground Education Center, Unity. Animals eat what?? Enlivening soil thru tree-based livestock farming! The day will feature presentations by farmers who are feeding their livestock from trees, Q & A discussion, a tree fodder resource sharing table, historic slide show, outdoor planning and skill practice for transition of various landscapes to fodder production, and storage discussion with samples of fodders provided and invited.
